What is Electro Expo? 

Electro Expo is a platform for showcasing products and services to those involved in the electrotechnology industry. The expo is hosted by the Electrical and Communications Association (ECA).

ECA has over 2000 members across Queensland and reaches over 7000 electrical contractors through its flagship publication Contact. ECA is committed to organising a successful expo designed for trade actively involved in the industry including those working in:

• Electrical
• Data and communications
• Refrigeration and air-conditioning
• Fire and security.

A Complete Trade Event

Electro Expo is run in conjunction with the National Tradesman's Expo, providing access to an even wider audience under the one roof.

Since it started, the National Tradesmans's Expo has gone from strength to strength. 2007 saw 6,711 tradespeople walk through the gates of the RNA Showgrounds. In 2008, with the addition of Electro Expo, 8,069 tradespeople made an appearance, a 20 per cent increase on 2007, and post event statistics show that 21 per cent of all tradesmen who attended the National Tradesman's Expo were electricians, that's 1694 potential leads!

Response to the 2009 Electro Expo and National Tradesman's Expo was extremely positive with 99 per cent of visitors indicating they would come again in 2010, and recommend the show to their colleagues.

In 2009, information sessions were a major drawcard for electrotechnology attendees, particularly with the recent release of the new wiring rules. 2010 will build on its success with even more sessions and topics on offer.

Venue

Electro Expo is held at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds, the largest venue and event hire organisation in Queensland. Located adjacent to Brisbane's CBD, the Showgrounds is the ideal venue with easy access, ample on-site parking and public transport facilities. The expo is held within the Industrial Pavilion, the largest enclosed venue on the grounds.
